Church Mission Statement:
T he Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church exist to transform unbelievers into Christ-like believers and to mature these believers into kingdom multipliers of the message of Jesus Christ through Evangelism, Discipleship, Worship, Fellowship and Ministry.

Vision Statement:

  • A church renewed in their commitment to sharing the Hope of Christ by helping members recognize their gifts and talents and use them to the glory of God.
  • A church spiritually reenergized by providing opportunities for individual and corporate growth.
  • A church revitalized, attracting new members with its unique inclusive style, presence, and mission.


We have four basic fundamentals :

  • We have a set of core values
  • We have a core purpose
  • We have a relentless drive for progress
  • We have strength beyond the presence of any one individual


We have 11 Core values: They are given after the Acronyms of our Church name Mount Bethel:

  1. Making God first: My relationship with God is the most important thing in my life. (Matt 6:33)
  2. Outreach to the community. We are devoted to impacting our community and the world through the gospel of Lord Jesus Christ with the goal of making disciples. (Matt. 28:19-20, Acts 1:8, Mark 12:28-31, I John 3:13-18).
  3. Undergirded by prayer: All that we do must have the thorough undergirding of prayer support or else there is no reason to anticipate the attending power and presence of the Holy Spirit in our ministry.
  4. Nurture one another through fellowship. Life is a struggle at one time or another, we all need help. We strive to serve one another so that no one has to face life’s struggles alone.
  5. Teaching/preaching and curriculum are consistent with the word of God delivering life changing practical application.
  6. Biblical authority: The authority for our ministry comes from the word of God as we submit ourselves to it’s teaching, commit ourselves to do what it says, and yield our lives to become mature believers in Christ Jesus.
  7. Equip and empower through the Holy Spirit to be workers in and out of church, It is not just the Pastors job. Therefore we seek to equip each member to utilize his/hers spiritual gifts and talents. (NO SPECTATORS PLEASE).
  8. Teamwork: We believe that God’s design for effective ministry is through a team. Therefore, we will work together, willing to change and even relinquish control, in order to maximize ministry.
  9. Healthy relationships and the priority of family: We are committed to strengthening the spiritual lives of families as they seek to become beacons of light for Christ within our community.
  10. Emphasis on Biblical Stewardship: We honor God through wise stewardship of our time, abilities, and material resources; the biblical guidelineof the tithe being the standard to which we strive.
  11. Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and love others as much as we love ourselves.

  • Discipleship--------------Church grows deeper through Discipleship
  • Ministry-------------Church grows broader through ministry
  • Fellowship---------Church grows through fellowship
